Dell released a security advisory for Container Storage Modules (CSM) used with Kubernetes and patched CVE-2026-63688 and CVE-2026-63692, both tied to missing authentication in the Dell CSM Authorization security module. The bundle also includes four additional critical CSM issues that can lead to root on cluster nodes, administrative access, forged authentication tokens, or cluster-wide read access to Kubernetes Secrets. Dell said customers should upgrade Container Storage Modules to 1.18.0 or later at the earliest opportunity. Dell later also urged administrators to patch two maximum-severity CSM vulnerabilities, CVE-2026-63688 and CVE-2026-63692, as soon as possible.
