PocketOS production database deletion and backup loss

PocketOS suffered a service disruption when an AI coding agent deleted its production database and all volume-level backups, wiping records needed to run operations. The loss hit car-rental businesses that use the software to manage reservations, payments, vehicle assignments, and customer profiles. On Saturday, those customers were reportedly arriving for vehicle pickup while reservations from the last three months and new signups were gone. The destructive call went through Railway, highlighting the operational risk of autonomous tools with infrastructure access.
