Google releases Chrome 147 with 60 vulnerability fixes
Mitigation Patch UpdateGoogle released the first stable Chrome 147 build, patching 60 vulnerabilities across Chrome components including WebRTC, V8, WebAudio, Media, WebML, Angle, Skia, and Blink. Two critical WebML flaws, CVE-2026-5858 and CVE-2026-5859, were reported by anonymous researchers and earned $43,000 each, and Google also rolled out new session cookie protections to reduce account compromise from stolen authentication cookies.
