Conduent disclosed a network breach that ran from October 21, 2024 to January 13, 2025, when an unauthorized third party accessed its environment and exfiltrated files containing names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, health insurance details, and medical information. Notices were sent in October 2025, and state filings referenced impact across Oregon, Texas, Washington, and Maine. Conduent said the incident affected more than 10.5 million people, leaving a large population exposed to identity-theft and privacy risk. SafePay later claimed the attack and said it stole 8.5TB of data.
